A three-days alumni-specific webinar series was organized by the department of Civil Engineering in association with Mewar University Alumni Society, in order of online lectures being conducted regularly by UGC to encourage online education and to promote it by Mewar University. During the webinar series the lectures was given by, Mr. Arunish Mukherjee (B Tech Civil, 2014) from VaTech Wabagh Dubai, Mr. Dipesh Songra (B Tech Civil, 2013) from SNS Corp Delhi, and Mr. Harsh Soni (B Tech Civil, 2016) from Ashoka Buildcon Pune, shared important and employment-oriented information on project management and steel structure and answers to the participants' questions related to the above areas Also given. It is important to note that even in this difficult period of the epidemic, during this seminar organized for the purpose of making the students aware of new and employment related information of their courses, the students of Mewar University have passed the students in the last years, who have served their renowned companies abroad. Are giving The combination of this lecture was made by Vice President of Alumni Society Mr Shashivendra Dulawat. in which a total of 200 participants including students and students were directly benefited and received e-certificates.
First meeting of Alumni Association was held on 11th March, 2017 in Maharana Pratap Seminar Hall, Mewar University Campus. Mr. Ritesh Ojha, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE and Ms.Nirma Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering were the anchors for the 1st Alumni meet. They informed all about the benefits, aim and Objective of Alumni Association. The welcome speech was delivered by Honorable President, Mewar University, Prof. VNR Pillai. He spoke on the importance of Alumni Society to students and how students should work for it. Alumni from different departments and Head of all Departments were present in the meet. Many Alumni shared their experiences about their stay in Mewar University and suggested the way ahead for the society. At last, vote of thanks was given by Mr. Shashivendra Dulawat, Vice-President, Mewar University Alumni Society and in the end refreshment was served.
